Five years into his service in the U.S. Air Force, Phil Schweizer of San Antonio, Texas, was grounded due to cancerous tumors on his spinal cord.
With the care and support from the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network, Phil has battled several terminal diagnoses and is proving how determination and staying involved can strengthen the body and soul.
