When Dr. Jesse Dominguez was a boy, he developed a deep appreciation for Veterans after helping support a friend’s father who was struggling with difficult memories associated with his service in Vietnam. That appreciation developed into a passion for taking care of Veterans and a determination to recognize their sacrifice. As an optometrist, Dr. Dominguez provides vision and eye health examinations and treatments, and is a provider in the Community Care Network, the Department of Veterans Affairs’ direct link with community providers to ensure Veterans receive timely, high-quality care. Dr. Dominguez feels honored to serve Veterans and says they are more than patients. “They become part of our family,” he explains.
